How Windfarms Impact Farming

What farmer wants to drag their equipment around that? This is two sections of land with four roads built right through the middle of it:

Here's a close-up of one of those roads. Looks like about 1200 feet in length and a good 20 feet wide:

And here's the size of the pad those things sit on. Underneath this blade is about 1,000 tons of concrete, much of which will never be removed once this turbine’s 20 year life is over.

Still waiting to hear how this is a “green” alternative to what we have now.
