Total Precipitation - Manitoba

Another interesting observation that I'll probably write more about yet is the constant fear-mongering about what might happen due to climate change, e.g: increased tornadoes; increased flooding; record-setting, baby-melting heat waves, etc.

Below is Winnipeg's total annual precipitation from 1948-2024. If there is increased flooding in the Red River Valley, it likely has more to do with the amount of people building in a known flood plain than with climate change.
