The Actual is a series of fictional headlines based on actual media reports. More or less, this is what’s really being said, even though we’re probably not supposed to say it quite like this. Admittedly, some of these are simply crude attempts at sarcasm, but most are accurate portrayals of fact. It's updated periodically, basically any time I feel like making a one sentence point that refers to a current news item (don’t worry, it doesn’t happen that often). When applicable, I’ve noted the source of inspiration for the The Actual headline.
